Care Instructions for Brass

Updated

Cleaning Polished & Brushed Brass:

For maintenance, it is recommended to wipe the fittings with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove stains or fingerprints. Avoid cleaning agents, as they may contain chemicals that can negatively affect the surface.

Cleaning Untreated Brass:

To preserve and care for handles and knobs in both untreated and polished untreated brass, it is recommended to wipe them with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and fingerprints. Avoid using cleaning agents, as they may contain chemicals that can negatively affect the surface.

If you wish to restore the original shine of the brass, you can gently polish the surface with a soft cloth or use a polishing agent specifically designed for brass. However, be aware that this may remove the natural patina that has developed over time. The patina will, however, return over time after polishing.
